Eldar Akhadov, A Man With Thousand Soul and Brain Eldar Akhadov is a walking dictionary who remains faithful to his existence as a researcher, writer, cultural figure, and educator.

TIMES MALANG, JAKARTA – Today is 19 July 2025, a special day to a well-known peace maker of words, culture filled with various knowledge and talents given by God Almighty, a breeze of a blessing Novruz, a calm man from Siberian nature.

It could be said that Eldar Akhadov is a walking dictionary who remains faithful to his existence as a researcher, writer, cultural figure, and educator who always feels happy to be among his little fans.

Eldar has explored a space of time that he could not reach in life. Support by family, friends, colleagues, both from his homeland in Azerbaijan and from where he is now with his beloved family in Russia.

Several times a year, Eldar always takes the time to simply hug his mother or eat a tasty dolma made by her. Eldar is a good listener and loving figure to those closest to him.

Eldar Alikhas Oglu Akhadov is the author of literary works published in 45 countries of the world and one hundred books published in Russian, Azerbaijani, English, Spanish, Italian, Chinese and Serbian in Russia, Azerbaijan, USA, Canada, Serbia, Mexico, India, Egypt and China.

He is a member of the Writers' Union of Russia, serves on the board of its Krasnoyarsk branch, and is affiliated with the Russian Geographical Society, where he chairs the toponymic commission of the Krasnoyarsk regional branch.

Eldar is also an honorary member of the Writers' Union of Azerbaijan, a member of the World Association of Azerbaijan Scientists, and a recipient of numerous prestigious awards, including:

  • Silver Pen of Rus’

  • For the Benefit of Peace (twice)

  • Russian-Swedish North – A Country Without Borders (twice)

  • Silver medals from the IV All-Russian and Eurasian Literary Festivals of Festivals

  • Awards from ZA-ZA Verlag (Germany), Vincenzo Padula (Italy), and Naji Naaman (Lebanon)

  • A diploma from the Homer Award (Greece)

  • And the silver medal “For Contribution to the Development of World Literature” from the World Writers' Organization.

Eldar’s achievements extend beyond literature. A graduate of St. Petersburg Mining University, he worked for 36 years in his field, with over 15 years at Rosneft companies across Siberia and the Far North. His contributions include the discovery and development of deposits of gold, silver, polymetals, precious stones, coal, oil, and gas in Russia, Belarus, and Azerbaijan.

He is also a member of the Union of Mine Surveyors of Russia and holds the honorary Silver Badge of the organization. His academic contributions include scientific articles on mine surveying and books on toponymy in three languages.

Eldar’s life and work are documented in the Great Russian Encyclopedia and featured in various Wikipedias, including Russian and Azerbaijani editions.

Today, as Eldar celebrates his 65th birthday, he sits beneath the shade of a pomegranate tree. A solitary musician plays a wistful Mugham melody, carrying Eldar’s thoughts hundreds of kilometers away, back to the homeland that forever lives in his heart. (*)
