Meanwhile, the Head of Senteluk Village, Fuad Abdul Rahman, retold the process of developing the culinary tourism area along the coast of Tanjung Bias Village.

Then, he encouraged the local society and the youths to develop the center of culinary tourism in this beach.

“Alhamdulillah (praise to God), thanks to all the cooperation and the determination, this culinary tourism center could be established,” he said.

Abdul Rahman said that the culinary tourism in Tanjung Bias Beach could bring a positive impact to the tourism in Senteluk Village. Moreover, the culinary kiosks along the beach are always crowded with visitors from Lombok and outside Lombok. Besides, it also could provide employment opportunity for the residents.

“Since the earthquake long time ago, there were many employees laid off. Now, this culinary tourism could accommodate them,” he said.

For the information, the culinary tourism in the coast of Tanjung Bias Peach in Senteluk Village serves delicious seafood. The ingredients are fresh from the ocean so it is guaranteed to be fresh.

The prices are very affordable. That’s why, Kemendes PDTT is sure that the culinary tourism in Tanjung Bias Beach in Senteluk Village, West Lombok could be the icon of halal tourism in NTB. (*)
