TIMES MALANG, DENPASAR – To secure the Nusa Dua area Bali where the G20 Indonesia summit will be held, the police in support of the special forces addressed their cavalry to patrol around the area.

The Police through the Directorate of Animal Police Baharkam Polri will keep addressing their cavalry forces to patrol around the area until the end of G20 summit. They will make sure that during the summit the area was secure enough to eliminate the number of threat during this event.

The Head of Police PR Division Ins. Gen Dedi Prasetyo said that the cavalry will help to secure the area around the main venue. The area around has been cleared out of those public transportation for the safety. 

"Polri (Indonesia Police Force) through the Directorate of Animal Police Baharkam Polri has sent the cavalry to patrol around ring 1 (main venue) of Nusa Dua, Bali," Dedi said. 

Dedi also said that they assign around 18 cavalry forces to patrol around the area. Those horses were sent from Bali, West Java, Yogyakarya, and Central Java Regional Police.

The horses were navigated by professional police who had been trained to control them few months earlier. The cavalries will be assigned to patrol around the hotel are where the world's leader's and the delegations' hotel. They will be divided into three shift and monitor the area for 24/7.

For your information, the horses were special breed taken from Netherland. They have been pastured and well taken cared to keep their condition. They were eve have a special stable made of a bus with AC to keep them in good condition.

The cavalry was expected to bring some secure and safe feeling to all the delegations. "They are huge, the stand around 165-170 cm  tall," Dedi explained.

Beside of the cavalry assigned to secure Nusa Dua area during there are 9700 police officers assigned to secure the area around Bali. 3699 other officer from police and army were also taken for alert in case they need more people to help to secure the area for G20 Indonesia summit. (*)
